Following on from the huge interest in supporting people housed in hotels – we have arranged a workshop on February 2nd, 12:00-13:15.
As greater numbers of people seeking sanctuary are housed in institutional settings like hotels for long periods of time, this free online event will be a chance to get:
- Best practice from groups already providing support;
- Insights from Local authorities who work with housing providers and voluntary groups in and around hotel accommodations;
- First person testimony from people housed within these hotels.
This event is designed to support and empower City of Sanctuary regional groups.
