Her Centre ESOL Classes group sessions Informal but needs to register before start. No exams and certifcate of attendance given at the end of term. Clockhouse Centre Tuesday mornings 10.00am to 12pm Women only over 18 years Pre Entry and Entry1 To all women in Greenwich over 18 years old. Yes – within the building. All classes are retuning face to face after february half term.
Together South group sessions and one-to-ones Informal. Registration is required however. Online Group sessions are: Tue 13:30-14:30 (Intermediate Level), Wed 11:00-12:00 (Advanced Level), Wed 13:30-14:30 (Lower Level) all levels No – Online lessons Contact Josh at [email protected] Classes are free and informal. We try to support participants with our group lessons as well as one-to-one support. Classes have been online for now, however we may explore in-person classes in the future. Will update spreadsheet when necessary.
English Club by Trinity Vineyard Church facilitated group conversation informal. practicing speaking round different topics. No qualifications. foucs on every day conversations and vocabulary in person at Foxfield Primary School, with a whatsapp group and occasional online content Every Wednesday during term time at 9:30 – 11am everyone all levels no eligibility criteria Children are welcome as part of the session, with toys and activities provided, though children remain the parents responsibility people are welcome to just turn up. for more information they can contact [email protected] Sessions are free and informal with an emphasis on building relationships and reducing isolation through practicing English. It is therefore not a formal ESOL lesson, rather a place to practice and build relationships within the community. Those who attend say their english has improved, but more inportantly their confidence in using it has increased. The facilitators are not trained ESOL teachers. We also invite guest faciliators from other organisations to enable our particpants to find out what else is available for them locally.

Can be a max of 5 week wait. This workshop is free and is focused on informal learning and everyday life and living in the UK. Supports pre-entry level ESOL. Facilitated by trained ESOL tutor.

Open to non-EU migrants and refugees. Must have leave to be in the UK. Can book up to 6 weeks in advance. Proof of leave to remain in the UK/from outside of the EU/EEA to be shown at first workshop.
The Big Red Bus Club Group informal language learning session with children Informal at all levels working on confidence and conversational skills. Once a learner is ready we will move them into accreddited provision where appropriate. No entry requirements other than having a child under 5 with them.
